The final session of “Quarantine Academy” will take place today, announced organizers of this volunteer service project that offers free learning courses for children and adults. The final session, “Introverts Rock” will explore the unique contributions that introverts and extroverts offer to the workplace, community and home environments. An expert author and presenter will be part of the discussion.
This pop-up online learning series demonstrates how a volunteer network of friends can leverage technology to create human connection and compelling content during the pandemic lockdown. While participants and volunteers have included people in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Brazil, the project was also powered by local volunteers in Arlington, Virginia, including area students.
